supplements

the operator's body is the substrate. every other vertical assumes it works.

the observation

we live in a chemically depleted world. the soil is mineral-stripped. the food is engineered for shelf life and shipping margin, not for nourishment. the air carries inputs that did not exist a hundred years ago. the result is that the modal american adult is operating below baseline, in ways they cannot self-diagnose, with consequences that look like personality and turn out to be biochemistry.

jordan hall says it plainly: "we live in a world where the basic molecules that we need for our bodies to operate properly are oftentimes just not present in our food, which they ought to. we don't live in the garden of eden anymore. we live in something which is extremely depleted and full of simulacra, which is even worse. just straight up starvation. at least you know what's going on. if your body is being filled with things that are themselves distractions, this can be very confusing."

he started taking the right precursors for his neurological metabolic pathways and watched abilities he had given up on come back online. "two or three things that had long, i thought, were just basic fundamental deficits. i just thought i had given up on the part of who i could be. and they just came back."

ron's version is more dramatic. ron almost died. supplements are a meaningful part of why he is here today. "you saved ron's life," gary said to jordan on the call. jordan replied: "if just saving ron's life was the entirety of why we did that work, it is more than worth it."

every pegasus team in the imagos portfolio is going to be led by a human unicorn. every human unicorn is operating from inside a body. if that body is operating below baseline, the vertical operates below baseline. nothing in the rest of the strategy compensates for an operator who is not getting the precursors his nervous system needs.

the vertical

supplements is a vertical inside the imagos full-stack sovereign-lifestyle company.

it is not a wellness brand. wellness brands are a counterfeit. they have been captured by a combination of mlm extractive dynamics, influencer thirst, and pharma-adjacent business models that need the operator to stay sick enough to keep buying.

an imagos supplement vertical is grounded in three commitments:

  1. commodity-priced. jordan said it directly: "i think we need to find a way to get it so that the business, the economics is commodity. it needs to be cheap and available. and there's no entirely from the point of view of health, no need or desire to get somebody doing something that isn't actually in their best interest." the margin moves to volume and trust, not to coercion.
  2. personalized through epigenetic + lab + ai readout. jordan ran his 400gb epigenome file through an ai bot that read his metabolic pathways and told him what he was missing. that workflow is going to be standard inside three years. imagos can be the trusted layer that owns the distribution of the recommendation, not just the bottle.
  3. trust-graph distributed. the unit of trust is the friend who already takes it, not the influencer who is being paid to. See: we are relationals on the FaithWalk side for the deeper claim. the same trust graph that underlies every other imagos product is the one that distributes the supplement.

why the vertical matters strategically

three reasons it has to be inside imagos rather than a partnership.

1. the operator is the asset. every vertical's quality compounds off the human unicorn. if the unicorn is not getting the molecules he needs, the vertical wobbles. imagos owning the operator's biochemistry is owning the substrate every vertical runs on. external supplement brands cannot be trusted with that variable. they are optimizing for their margin, which is not the same as the operator's output.

2. it is the embodiment companion to the applied ai stack. See: capable and sovereign is the only faithful quadrant on the FaithWalk side. the angelic endgame is the operator wearing applied ai as power armor. the precondition is a re-embodied operator. iron man becomes physically fit before the suit works for him; without that, the suit eats him. supplements are part of the re-embodiment infrastructure. without them, the harness sits on top of a depleted body and we get the wall-e outcome instead of the iron man outcome.

3. it is a recurring-revenue sovereignty layer. the lifetime value of a believer-operator on a supplement subscription that actually works is high, the trust graph compounds, and the vertical pays for itself while serving the operators who staff every other vertical. this is the same loop coworking spaces, software, and media run inside imagos. supplements is the loop applied to the body.

what we are not building

  • not an mlm. mlm is the satanic counterfeit of trust-graph distribution. See: how to shepherd kings on the FaithWalk side for the broader pattern of counterfeits.
  • not a wellness aesthetic. the brand is austere. the brand is the operator getting his neurochemistry back. no influencer photoshoots. no grass-fed romanticism.
  • not a bro-science cult. recommendations are anchored to lab work and metabolic pathway analysis, not to the latest podcast.
  • not a pharma play. we are not optimizing for chronic disease management. we are optimizing for the operator at full capacity.
  • not an everything-store. a small set of high-confidence stacks that cover the precursors most depleted humans are missing, plus a personalization layer for what an individual's epigenome actually needs.

stage one: solve our own problem

ron and gary already do this for themselves. the immediate move is to formalize what they are already running. document the stacks. document the suppliers. document the lab work that produced the recommendations. document the epigenetic-test-to-stack workflow. that document is the v0 of the vertical. it serves the imagos inner circle first, the broader trust graph second, and a public market third.

See: solve your own problems for why this is the only correct sequence.

stage two: pegasus team

the unicorn slot is the most important. we want a clinician or biochemist with a documented track record, ideally someone the network already trusts. a movement builder who can run the trust graph at scale. an applied ai engineer who can ship the epigenome-to-stack agentic workflow. all three sitting under the imagos commercial structure with the standard equity + revenue arrangement.

what would invalidate the vertical

three things would tell us this is not the right vertical to run.

  1. the precursors humans actually need become available cheaply enough through normal grocery channels that supplementation is unnecessary. (very unlikely on current trajectory; the soil and food trends point the other way for at least another decade.)
  2. the regulatory landscape on personalized epigenetic-driven recommendations turns hostile in a way that makes the personalization layer impossible. (worth tracking.)
  3. we cannot find a unicorn we trust at the head of it. (the human is the gating constraint on every vertical; supplements is no different.)

absent those, this is a vertical we should run.
