the imagination economy thesis

the world economy at every stage is composed of different industries that function to support human flourishing. each industry is a reflection of the power structures, technologies, and level of spiritual consciousness of that age.

the shift

self-improving AI is the dividing line. it's creating an elevator economy: some people and companies going up, everyone else going down. there is no standing still. some people conservatively call this the K-shaped economy. we call it the elevator economy because K implies two stable trajectories. the reality is more like an elevator with a cut cable: you're either going up to infinity or you're in free fall.

the imagination economy is what emerges on the up side. an economy where your imagination, backed by AI leverage and the right team, is the primary asset. where every industry is led by movements built around trustworthy people with infinitely scalable products.

how industries get born

  1. new technology enables new possibilities (AI making previously impossible things possible)
  2. someone with domain expertise and calling reimagines the industry from first principles
  3. infrastructure gets built (the game engine for the industry)
  4. businesses form on top of the infrastructure
  5. new roles emerge that didn't exist before
  6. people get educated and activated into those roles

the four buckets

if you're not in one of these four buckets, what are you doing? this isn't about excluding people from the future economy. it's about slotting in and locking in.

1. human unicorn — the person who received a vision from God of what to create. some call them a "little god" in the sub-creation sense: someone channeling divine downloads into something real. from the soul, from the heart. the soul of the pegasus. without this person, you're building slop.

2. AGI whisperer — the builder who turns the unicorn's vision into an infinitely scalable product. also called the applied AI engineer. the output of the AGI whisperer is a self-running business or value creation machine. can be created and managed by multiple people, but ideally one for simplicity.

3. distribution genius — the person who gets the product into people's hands. also called the movement builder. NOT "cultural architect," because culture without distribution is useless. if you can't help distribute, if you have no pull, you're effectively useless. this is a distribution MACHINE that needs to be engineered by one or more people.

4. the glue — the person who holds it all together. fun, love, vibes, harmony. the connective tissue that makes the other three want to keep building together. without the glue, teams fracture under pressure.

you can overlap. the best operators play multiple roles. but every team that wins has all four covered.

human capital is divine capital

notice what's not in the four buckets: technology. AI is a tool. it's only part of the equation.

the human with the divine download is what matters. AI doesn't get revelations from God. you can create slop all day with AI. we're not trying to create slop factories. we're trying to create divine infrastructure. kingdom infrastructure.

not only do we not believe that all humans will be replaced in the economy, we believe that humans are all that ever mattered in developing the economy, imagining the economy, growing the economy. the divine economy is all about human beings with God-given vision using every tool available to build what He ordained.

human capital isn't just capital. it's divine capital. and it's all that matters.

divine favor as competitive advantage

someone asked: "there are a lot of venture studios. what makes yours different?"

ours is blessed by God.

Satan backs certain ventures. other ventures have no favor on any side and are just toys, doomed to fail. we want divine favor on every venture we support. our kingdom businesses are vehicles in the spiritual war. that's the difference.

you either have divine favor, satanic favor, or you're building something that doesn't matter. we choose divine favor.

the AAS connection

AAS is the workforce development pipeline for the imagination economy:

  • educate people in applied AI literacy
  • activate them into roles in new industries
  • elevate them to the up side of the elevator

but the industries have to exist first for the jobs to be possible. that's why Imagos incubates the infrastructure. AAS builds the bench. Imagos puts people in the game.

cross-cutting vs. industry-specific

some tools are cross-cutting across industries:

  • PR and narrative infrastructure
  • applied AI tooling
  • movement building frameworks

some are industry-specific:

  • music preservation infrastructure (Ari's vinyl platform)
  • AI education infrastructure (Alpha Schools, 2 Hour Learning)
  • cultural enterprise tools

both need to be incubated. the cross-cutting ones create leverage across the portfolio.
