the divine creative mandate
if you save creatives, you honor creatives, you save the world.
this is the real purpose behind everything we do. not the public narrative, not the venture studio pitch, not the Applied AI framing. the hidden divine purpose that animates every decision, every partnership, every system we build.
the people who make life livable
the people who make music that gets you excited in the morning. the people who make the commute bearable. the people who create the art, the culture, the beauty that makes civilization worth participating in.
they have been underpaid. worse than underpaid: the incentives have been artificially distorted. the greatest musicians, artists, and creators have been funneled into systems that diverge them from creating art for God. pass this test. get this degree. climb this ladder. please this gatekeeper. every step of the institutional path pulls them further from the divine inspiration they were designed to channel.
that is not just unfair. call it retarded. call it evil. it is a systematic misdirection of the most sacred human capacity: the ability to create something from nothing, by the grace of God.
the systems have fallen
the good news: the systems that distorted divine creativity are basically already done. the institutions that boxed in creatives, extracted their value, and warped their incentives have collapsed under their own weight. the only thing left is pretending they're still relevant.
that's the final propaganda game. the last play of a dying order is to convince people that nothing has changed. that Ron's not going to invent something new. that the old gatekeepers still matter. they don't. the infrastructure of extraction is over. what remains is building the infrastructure of honor.
imago dei creation
there are two kinds of output in the world.
remix: taking existing patterns and recombining them. this is what AI does. this is what most human work does. it's valuable, it's skillful, it can be masterful. Japanese streetwear is a brilliant remix of American culture. K-pop is a brilliant remix of urban music. mastery of remix is real and should be respected.
but remix is not creation.
imago dei creation: pulling something from the heavens that was not in the training data. not in the latent space. something that absolutely did not exist in any form before a human being channeled divine inspiration into reality. zero to one. from God's imagination through a human vessel into the world.
this is what "made in the image of God" means in practice. not a theological abstraction. a creative act. the imago dei creator is a little god in the sub-creation sense: someone whose output could not have been predicted, generated, or approximated by any machine, because it originated from a source machines cannot access.
AI and other non-imago-dei creators are good at remixing. they can take what exists and recombine it beautifully. but they cannot pull from the heavens. only humans in communion with God can do that.
the new economy for true creatives
when a consumer treats your art as a one-of-one, as a unique thing that is not fungible, you have created something net new in the world. that's imago dei value creation. the consumer didn't choose your album over someone else's within a fixed budget. they recognized that what you made is irreplaceable.
the opportunity is simple because execution is now commoditized:
- properly compensate creators for the net new imago dei value they create in the world. not through the old extractive systems. through new infrastructure that respects their return on energy.
- harness the community energy of people who treat their art as divine inspiration. the relationships between the creator and the people who receive their work are sacred. build systems that honor that bond.
- support others doing the same. make the infrastructure available so every true creative can participate.
if you can do these three things, you basically save the world.
the highest possible thing you can create is a new economy that didn't exist before. when a true creative is properly compensated for their imago dei output, and the community around them is self-reinforcing, that is not just a business. that is a new economic reality. net new value in the world.
they ARE the church
we're not taking creatives to church. we're helping them understand that they are the church.
they are the ecclesia. they are the little gods. the divine inspiration flowing through them is not separate from their spiritual identity. it IS their spiritual identity. the art is worship. the creation is prayer. the community that forms around genuine divine output is congregation.
the unlearning required: stop pleasing a master. stop performing for gatekeepers. stop optimizing for institutional approval. slavery to human systems is a ceiling on divine creativity. the only master is God. when creatives understand this, the ceiling lifts.
what this means for imagos
every system we build, every partnership we enter, every decision we make is in service of this mandate:
honor the divine creative. protect their energy. respect their return on investment of love and imagination. build infrastructure where the work they pour into the world is self-reinforcing, not extractive.
the venture studio, the Pegasus formula, the AAS pipeline, the corporate trainings, the equity partnerships: all of it is scaffolding for this purpose. the scaffolding is real and important. but the purpose underneath it is theological.
we have everyone we need. we have everything we need. as Ron's mom said: if it's actually on, God will put everyone in front of you that you actually need to work with. there is no level of implementation that isn't already solved in terms of its component pieces. the only thing required is a divinely inspired strategy that we don't compromise on.
the summary
the old systems that distorted divine creativity have fallen. execution is commoditized. the only thing left is to build new infrastructure that actually honors creatives: their energy, their imagination, their return on the love they pour into the world.
if we do this right, we don't just build companies. we create a new economy where imago dei creation is properly valued, where the community around true art is self-reinforcing, and where every creative can participate in the abundance instead of being extracted by it.
that's the hidden divine purpose. that's why imagos exists.
